Strategies that Work

Teaching to support gifted learners does not have to mean completely changing everything about a classroom curriculum. Rather, there are strategies, projects, and assignments that can be used to effectively provide gifted students with the challenge they require. This page is an accumulation of such strategies and suggestions. Click the tabs in the box to the right to explore.

One Thing to Note:

All students, especially gifted students, are incredibly

unique and different learners. Each student comes with an individual set of strengths, weaknesses, and learning preferences. While all of these strategies have the potential to be helpful, they won't all work for every student. Consider your students and the areas they excel at to determine which will work best for them.
